Care for the Differently-Abled

i. RED CROSS RESIDENTIAL BOYS HIGH SCHOOL FOR ORTHOPEDIToll Free NoY HANDICAPPED, KAKINADA
       This School was established in 1993 with free boarding, lodging, clothes and free supply of textbooks and stationery from 1st to 10th classes. During 2016-17, the strength stood at 41 students. 4 of the alumni got government jobs in 2016-17. These students have participated in International Disabled Day Sports Competitions and won medals in various sports. There are currently 58 students in the residential school.
       Three old student from this school acquired Government Jobs and are being facilitated by the IRCS, E.G. District Branch.

ii. GREEN FIELD RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL FOR BLIND CHILDREN, KAKINADA
       The Management of Green Field Residential School for Blind Children which is located in Thimmapuram village of Kakinada rural mandal was handed over to IRCS, East Godavari District Branch on 09.12.2016. 46 boys and girls are studying in this Residential School having its own 3-floor building.
       Students are often taken outing for recreation and to inculcate sporting spirit on par with normal children.

iii. MSR SPASTIC CENTRE FOR CHILDREN, NELLORE
       A school for mentally retarded children and those suffering with cerebral palsy was started in August,2000 by IRCS, SPSR Nellore District Branch. With 150 students and 21 staff, the Centre is providing vocational training, physiotherapy, speech therapy, music therapy, sensory integration, etc. to the children. The school has a van facility for students’ pickup and drop.
